About This Show

Actor/singer John Ciccolini, who has been nominated for the LA Weekly Award for Outstanding Solo Performance, loved Frank Sinatra. As he sits in his room pining over the girl of his Junior High School dreams, “Old Blue Eyes” himself appears to guide him down the path to true love, with a lot of fun along the way.

In a hilariously funny and often poignant tale, John first takes audiences back to his Jersey childhood and his memories of the magical romance of his parent’s marriage: a romance that disappeared as life’s disappointments mounted. Follow John as he searches for the romance that he hears about in all of those great songs.

“Ciccolini’s script is a barrage of belly laughs, half the laughs coming from Ciccolini’s expert comic timing and sharp delivery as he takes command of the stage” “He will immediately steal his audience’s heart.”
— BackStage West

“Ciccolini is a consummate actor and singer, portraying a bevy of colorful characters” “Ciccolini’s one-person show balances the hilarious and the sweet with aplomb”
— LA Weekly
