Bingo: The Winning New Musical

The hit musical comedy Bingo: The Winning New Musical explores the joys, heartaches and lessons in winning and losing as witnessed by three die-hard bingo friends. Bingo is conceived by the Grammy-nominated songwriters of Swing!, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid, and the musical director of Mamma Mia!, David Holcenberg. Glenn Casale directs, with choreography by Lisa Stevens.

Bingo is a high-energy, funny new musical focusing on three bingo-obsessed friends: Vern, the funny, tough matriarch of the group with a heart of gold; Honey, an extremely loveable sex kitten who is not the “brightest of bulbs;” and Patsy, the rockstar wannabe with an obsessively superstitious exterior. The three pals risk traveling through a terrible storm for their weekly game where they encounter the young stranger, Alison, the handsome bingo caller, Sam and the friendly bingo hall manager, Minnie.

The score features songs including “Girl’s Night Out,” “Anyone Can Play Bingo,” “Gentleman Caller” and “B4.”
