About This Show

Alex’s sister Riley is dead of an accidental overdose, and Alex is alone in the hospital bathroom with a bottle of Riley’s pills. Alex must decide what path to go down: take the pills and follow Riley? Take the pills and numb the pain? Or find a different path? Through memories, movement, and a compelling story by the creative team and students at React (formerly Young Actors Theatre,) a cast of six actors brings to life a story of loss and love that can happen to anyone anywhere.

Due to seating capacity, tickets are required for all patrons (regardless of age). The Basile Theatre is our black box theatre with seating on all four sides of the stage. General admission tickets include accessible seating which is available in all first rows.

Mission Statement
To create original theatre with youth that Reacts to social issues of the world.
Every React show is created from the ground up by students, along with their director. Because we bring in ideas and stories from everybody in the group, we can make plays that matter– to the people onstage, to the people behind the scenes, and to the people in the audience. The result is meaningful, fun, creative work that sticks.
About React
Charlotte Kaufman founded a children's theatre built on her own experiences as an actress in New York City.  Young Actors Theatre put on traditional scripted plays with school-age youth to the tune of three shows a year.  This tight-knit group was an unsung force in the heart of Indy, focused on classic theatre traditions.
