About this show

Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks, In the Blood is a modern-day riff on Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter. In the Blood tells the story of Hester, a homeless mother living under a bridge with her five illegitimate children. Labeled as a "slut" and denounced by the world around her, Hester seeks absolution.

Directed by Aaron Reese Boseman | Featuring an original score by Paris Ray Dozier
