About This Show

The Big Voice: God or Merman? is the autobiographical story of two gay men: Jim, a Brooklyn-born Catholic, and Steve, a Southern Baptist from Texas. How they find their way from church to stage is only the beginning of this intense celebration of the power of musical theatre. Their life together is presented through a series of stories and songs that chronicle their marriage, home life, success, struggles with illness, “divorce,” and reunion.

Additional matinee performances are on April 6 and 19 at 4pm.
