Actors run back and forth between House and Garden, two Alan Ayckbourn plays performed simultaneously but separately on each of the Alley?s two stages. In House, Teddy has dreams of a bright future as the new local member of Parliament. The only thing barring his path is an urgent need to clean up his private life before the Prime Minister’s special envoy arrives. The rest of the action takes place in the companion play which theatergoers can see at another time.
