About This Show

Adapted and directed by Michael Wilson, this new version of A Christmas Carol is a fanciful and musical re-telling of Charles Dickens’ “ghostly little book” about Ebenezer Scrooge and the three ghosts who visit him on Christmas Eve. The elaborate production is created with scenic design by Tony winner Tony Straiges (Alley’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), costumes by Alejo Vietti (Alley’s Bad Dates), lighting by Rui Rita (Alley’s A Christmas Carol, Bad Dates), and original music by John Gromada (Alley’s The Pillowman and Hapgood). The Alley Theatre will offer a special performance on Saturday, November 25th at 2:30 pm; an ASL interpreted, audio described and open captioned performance. Call 713-228-9341 ext 346 for more information.
