A 24-foot wide swimming pool becomes the playground for gods and mortals as Georgia Shakespeare presents the regional professional premiere of this Tony Award-winning play. A series of mesmerizing, comic and poignant vignettes, Metamorphoses translates ten ancient myths into moving and often funny modern tales that illustrate the human capacity to adapt and endure. Based on the Myths of Ovid, this overtly theatrical event weds the power of storytelling, the grace of movement and the magic of music to bring to life an evening of stunning beauty.
