About This Show

Self Help, The Comedy is a fast-paced, wildly entertaining two-woman self-help parody, starring writer/performers Debbie Kasper (Emmy nominated writer for Roseanne, and The Rosie O’Donnell Show) and Sheila Kay (two-time American Comedy Award nominee). This hilarious comedy parodies the self-help workshops and Dr. Phil-type shows sweeping the nation. It pokes fun at men, women, self-esteem, body image, “women’s rights” and “men’s wrongs”. Characters include, among others: Dr. Simpatico, who teaches affirmations like “I’m not fat, I’m just too big for my head.”
