In Sacred Song

Pensacola Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Allen and Susan Pote, presents In Sacred Song with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Peter Rubardt, Music Director of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, will be guest conductor for this concert.

The annual “In Sacred Song” concerts feature classical and sacred works encompassing music of the masters, along with vibrant contemporary selections. Among the Classical composers whose music will be heard in this year’s concert are Mozart, Haydn, Fauré, Handel, Brahms and Mendelssohn.

A performance of selections from the famous "A Ceremony of Carols," written by twentieth-century English composer Benjamin Britten, is sure to be a highlight of this year’s concert. David Ott and Allen Pote are among the contemporary composers with works on the program.

All choirs of the Pensacola Children’s Chorus will perform in this concert.
