About the Show
A heartfelt story of a young Hasidic girl living in the ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) Jewish quarter of Mea Shearim (100 Gates), Israel and her desperate attempts to seek refuge in a forbidden relationship with an ex-Haredi soldier, after her loving yet controlling father has arranged her marriage to a Talmudic scholar. 100 Gates Depicts the tragedy of conflicting values, the sacrifices people make for self-fulfillment, and the humorous dimensions that lie in between.
