About This Show

A full orchestra and a cast of over 40 actors bring to life the passengers and crew of the "unsinkable" Titanic, as they move from elation to disbelief and from despair to hope during that night of the quintessential marine disaster of the century.

The discovery of the wreckage of the RMS Titanic in 1985 attracted Yeston’s interest in writing a musical about the famous disaster. Titanic is based on the true story of the great ship’s maiden voyage from departure in Southampton, England to the sinking in the Atlantic by an iceberg. The show touches on issues such as class, immigration and mankind’s vulnerability in the face of nature. The story follows passengers and crew members who actually existed and were aboard the Titanic back in 1912.
