About This Show

The Mizel Center Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Poignant Irritations, a new play on the visionary genius of Gertrude Stein and her life with her companion Alice B. Toklas. The Mizel Center for Arts and Culture commissioned the work from Melissa Lucero McCarl, the author of Painted Bread, which was named “Best Play of 2003” by The Denver Post. Steve Wilson directs.

Additional 7 p.m. performances May 8 and 15. There are no performances on Saturday, April 23 or Sundays, April 10, April 24 and May 1.
