Stars Monica Patton and C.E. Smith, along with musical director Alva Nelson, bring the legacy of these musicals to life. Each dazzling segment is drawn from memorable moments in Broadway favorites – from “Ain’t Misbehavin'” and “Porgy and Bess” to “The Wiz” and “Ragtime”. The roster of its composers features such figures as George Gershwin, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, “Fats” Waller and Duke Ellington.
