About This Show

In William Shakespeare’s King Lear, a king decides he wants to be something else, and turns over control of his kingdom to his daughters. From that simple act comes a storm of chaos as Lear’s mind and his former kingdom fall to ruin. In what many consider his greatest work, Shakespeare takes us to the extreme limits of existence, from unthinkable savagery to transcendent goodness.

From October 23 through October 27, performances are at the Margo Jones Theatre at Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts. Call 214-768-ARTS for more information about tickets and show times for those performances.
