Gruesome Playground Injuries

Over the course of 30 years, the lives of Kayleen and Doug intersect at the most bizarre intervals, leading the two childhood friends to compare scars and the physical calamities that keep drawing them together. The two masochistic individuals are made for one another, developing from accident prone children to self destructive adults. They manage to burn, break, gouge, slice, and mutilate every part of their anatomy and there isn’t a bone that has been broken, or a heart shattered that these two haven’t been through without each other. The deep wounds they obtain are sewn together by the other, forever reminding them of the other’s significance in their scars.
