From Akron, Ben Gage creates folk music rooted in a blue-collar upbringing and a love of the outdoors. For him, nothing captures a moment the way a song can. Gage has always struggled to live in the moment, itching to get to the next “thing”, but music stops him in his tracks. It demands attention and will fall to pieces without it – songs are his anchors to the now.
