About This Show

Putting the humor back in comedy with a series of original Pythonesque sketches, Colonel Ingot-Whustard’s Compelling Mango Gesture presents their debut show, You Must Pay.

You Must Pay will make you laugh (at an auction of Nazi paraphernalia that goes hilariously awry), chuckle (at a lecherous man’s visit to a “babysitting agency”), chortle (at an incompetent English-to-English translator), and guffaw with glee (at the pathetically inept inventor Ralph Simmons). All this plus an interview with a dead author, an obligatory fart joke, a German-loving pharmaceutical marketing board, a gathering of old friends, and a jewelry store owner who takes more pride in his fees than his jewelry. After months of planning, revising, and rewriting, Colonel Ingot-Whustard is finally ready to show Chicago how sketch comedy is done.
