About This Show
West Side Story transports Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet to the streets of New York City in 1957. Two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the “American” Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.
With music by Bernstein, and lyrics by Sondheim, the musical features such classic songs as "Maria," "Tonight," and "I Feel Pretty."
