About This Show

Chekhov International Theatre Festival presents its production of Twelfth Night, written by William Shakespeare.

Shakespeare’s gender-bending romantic comedy gets a new twist with an all-male cast drawn from Moscow’s great acting companies. Director Declan Donnellan and designer Nick Ormerod, founding artists of the famed British-based theater company, Cheek by Jowl, push the boundaries of ambiguity in this irresistibly spirited performance that has thrilled audiences from Brussels to Bogotá.

Twelfth Night will be performed in Russian with projected English translation.
