About This Show

Brown Couch Theatre Company starts the new year with the U.S. Premiere of Matéi Visniec’s The Story of the Panda Bears Told By a Saxophonist Who Has a Girlfriend in Frankfurt, directed by Bryan White.

Set over nine nights, the play tells the story of an everyman and a mysterious woman who are brought together under curious circumstances. Their journey of self-discovery often defies logic but ultimately leads the man to a higher understanding of life and death. The audience travels with them on their journey, but is never more than one step ahead in this delicate and lyrical piece.

There are additional Sunday evening performances at 8:00 p.m. on January 21 and 28 only.
