About This Show

Written in the tradition of epic verse drama, The Pendragon is an Arthurian tragedy set in the 6th century A.D. and based on the legend’s Welsh roots. Featuring well known characters such as Lanslod, Arthur, and Gwenhwyfar, The Pendragon pivots around the struggle between morality, loyalty, and love. The production features authentic historical costumes all designed and built by director Jeff Harris as well as dynamic fight choreography. Playwright Matthew Sauer frames the story within the mindset of Riddlemark’s mission: to bring the experience of classical theatre to a contemporary audience. Written in Modern English, The Pendragon breathes new life into the celebrated tale of Sir Arthur and his legions.
