About This Show

Written in the traditions of epic verse drama and folk storytelling, The Pendragon is an Arthurian tragedy crafted from the original Welsh legend and set in 6th century A.D. Playwright Matthew Sauer and co-story developer/director Jeff Harris paint a picture of ambition, betrayal, repentance and forgiveness in this world premiere production. Written in iambic and trochaic pentameter, The Pendragon breathes new life into the celebrated legend of King Arthur and a nation who loved and followed him.
