Theatre at the Center’s 2011-2012 Theatre For Young Audiences Season kicks off with the musical adaptation of the classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty. Will the princess sleep for 100 years? Or will her prince come save her with a kiss?

Sleeping Beauty tells the story of a beautiful Princess, a handsome Prince, and a bunch of crazy fairies. Three fairies throw a party to celebrate the birth of the new Princess, but one fairy was not invited! Angered, she crashes the party and bestows on the new baby a horrible curse. Sleeping Beauty will sleep for eternity unless her fairy friends can find a prince to break the curse. With no prince in sight, and the angry fairy hovering, will the curse ever be broken? Sleeping Beauty is a timeless story of love and magic that is sure to delight children of all ages. Groups in attendance will have the chance to join the fun by entering the Sleeping Beauty coloring contest. The winner will receive a four pass to Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, Indiana.
