Sideways Stories from Wayside School
$8.00
Based on three of Louis Sachar’s best-selling Wayside School novels, Sideways Stories from Wayside School tells the tales of Wayside School, which was accidentally built sideways. Instead of being one story high with 30 classrooms, it’s actually 30 stories high with one classroom on each floor (but they have an extra large playground!). And some say the teachers and students at Wayside School are strange and silly . . . and so will you. This play encourages non-horizontal thinking, and is recommended for ages eight and up. Chicago Playworks presented Sachar’s popular There’s a Boy in the Girls Bathroom in 2005, and he also wrote the popular Newbery Medal-winning book turned into a movie Holes.
