About This Show

The Sam Shepard Play Festival explores different stages of Shepard’s evolution as a theatre artist, from his coming of age plays to his refined storytelling technique and on into his experimental productions. Shepard explores the glory of life, the tragedy of love, and the power of destiny in his plays. The Sam Shepard Play Festival portrays the search and possible discovery of the unknown in not only fantastic circumstances but also everyday life. The festival shows include Icarus’s Mother, Geography of a Horse Dreamer, and Savage/Love.

Savage/Love will only be performed on Thursday evenings
