About This Show

Eclipse Theatre’s Neil Simon Season concludes with the uproarious pure farce Rumors. The deputy mayor of New York and his wife are having a dinner party to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. As the first guests arrive, they find that the hostess is missing, the butler and cook have disappeared, and the host seems to have shot himself through the earlobe. What to do? Try to cover-up, of course. But as more guests arrive, the explanations get more complicated and bizarre, and soon nobody can remember who told what to whom. With the police on the way, panic sets in, doors slam, and the Simon one-liners start to fly.

There is no performance on Thursday, November 27 in honor of Thanksgiving.
