Get to know Moshe Kasher, an L.A.-based rising star of comedy who’s coming to Chicago to headline at UP Comedy Club. Known for his neurotic, high-speed comic style, Kasher was named Best New Comic in 2009, and Punchline Magazine called him one of their 2010 Comics to Watch. In 2012, Kasher told the story of his strange childhood in the acclaimed book Kasher in the Rye: The True Tale of a White Boy from Oakland Who Became a Drug Addict, Criminal, Mental Patient, and Then Turned 16. Most recently he has worked as a writer on the TV series The New Normal and appeared on Comedy Central’s Drunk History.
