Maz Jobrani

Iranian-American comedian, Maz Jobrani returns to UP with his book tour for I’m Not a Terrorist, But I Played One On TV. He is a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central. In addition to performing stand-up around the world, including in the Middle East where he performed in front of the King of Jordan, he’s had two Showtime Specials: Brown and Friendly and I Come in Peace, which are now on Netflix.

He has been a guest on The Tonight Show and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, as well as been featured on CNN, the BBC, The New York Times and Time Magazine. He regularly appears as a panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me and he recently filmed Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, a film which he also co-wrote.
