Brown Couch Theatre Company presents its second annual ten-minute play festival, Last Call. This year's festival centers around the theme of addiction, and is made up of ten short pieces selected out of over 150 submissions from all over the US and several international entries. In dealing with the subject of addiction, the plays focus on a wide variety of topics. Although some pieces deal with common issues like alcoholism, other works explore more unconventional attachments to things like capri pants and telemarketing phone calls. Coleman (directed by Cory Fowkes) Snacking by Don Paul Martin (directed by Lloyd Bolick) The Saved by William Nedved (directed by Billy Mayer) The Palace of Wisdom by Ann Marie Oliva (directed by Allison Quetel) Capri Diem by Libby Rucker (directed by Ryan Magnuson) Bar Stool by John Shea (directed by Josh Miller) Passing by Adam Simon (directed by Heather Brown) I'll Be There by Micky York (directed by Mark Pracht) Brown Couch will donate $1 for each ticket sold to a local food pantry.
