Keep Ishmael

Keep Ishmael is a new rock musical based on Herman Melville’s novel, Moby Dick. The show is about four friends who are tired of living up to the high standards of their hometown — Naperville, IL. They abruptly flee from, “The Best Place in America to Raise a Kid,” (As Naperville was named by U.S. News and World Report in 1997) and set out for adventure in their Ford Pequod. Mayhem ensues as they find themselves on a crazed captain’s fishing boat in the Pacific Ocean chasing down America’s favorite whale, Shamu.
