I Sailed With Magellan

VGT ensemble member Claudia Allen, a chronicler of the day to day intimacies of the small-town Midwest landscape, turns her skilled hand to the world of prize-winning author Stuart Dybek in I Sailed With Magellan. Allen transfers from the page to the stage Dybek’s provocative characters from the stark urban landscapes of Chicago, where the daily experiences of the city’s neighborhood come to life.
