Cut to the Chase

The 7th annual Cut to the Chase one-act festival opens August 7th. Cut to the Chase is a production/workshop, offering opportunities to playwrights, directors and actors to work together on unusual and original pieces. This year’s festival features new works solicited from across the country throughout the year, and highlights the skills of directors and actors from a variety of cross-disciplines.

Works include:

KISSING ON THE MOUTH by Justin O’Connor, directed by Monica Payne. Featuring Bob Turton and Veronica Lynn.

LIFE DRAWING by Nate Sands, directed by Ed Krystosek. Featuring Doug Alan, Peter Connor, Laura Spatz, Lee Stark, Andrew Yearick and Leann Zahrt.

EVERYTHING’S TEMPORARY by Matt Malinowski, directed by Susan Burke. Featuring Eustace Allen and Karin Hansen.

HEDY LAMAR by Don Klein, directed by Nadav Kurtz. Featuring Ravi Baptista, Anna Carini, Peter Connor, Mike Davenport, Julie Hurt, Lee Stark and Adam Tremaine.
