Cirque du Soleil: Luzia

About This Show

In Luzia, a waking dream transports audiences to an imaginary Mexico. They experience a wondrous world that invites them, enveloped in light and nurtured by rain, to explore their senses. Inspired by the cultural richness of Mexico, Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia features original music by Canadian composer Simon Carpentier. The show’s album takes Carpentier’s music (written for a live acoustic setting) and passes it through the filter of the electro-pop of Nortec Collective’s Bostich + Fussible with an infusion of brassy Mexican and Latin American sounds.
