Body Blows

Tim Miller, one of America’s premiere performance artists, returns to Bailiwick for an exciting premiere of his newest work, Body Blows. This performance, based on Miller’s new book of the same name, explores the tangible body blows – ones taken and ones given – of Tim Miller’s life and times as explored through his performances: The queer bashers blow. The sweet blowing breath of a lover tickling over the eyes. The blows on his shoulders and head from a cop in Houston or San Francisco. The exquisite blow of two men’s bodies coming together in love. Miller’s performances are full of the put-up-your dukes and stand-your-ground of such day to day blows – given and received — that makes up being queer in America.
