Blood Sausage

The age old question on the minds of every one this Halloween season is, "What shall I consume this time?" Well if you like your revenge tales served piping hot, then Blood Sausage is the show for you and your family this Halloween season (ok so maybe not your small children, but I’m sure your teens would enjoy a bite). Blood Sausage, based on one of theater’s oldest revenge tragedies, Medea, poses the questions: "What happens when your whole life is destroyed?"; "How far would you go to avenge a broken heart?"; and "What the hell’s in that blood sausage anyway?" When she was asked about the world premiere hor-omedy (horror/comedy…get it? I won’t tell if you steal it!), writer/director Sara Kay Snider, no stranger to blood-filled comedies after last season’s The Horror, pondered, "What makes one of the saddest stories in the world funny? Answer…gallons of blood, singing severed heads, and hot pants!"
