Annie Get Your Gun

With music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, Annie Get Your Gun is loosely based on the life of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley and her courtship with Frank Butler, lead sharpshooter in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. The production features an all-amateur cast, with members having literally bought their way into the show during Victory Gardens’ Casting Auction. Lawyers, doctors, stay-at-home moms, CEOs, socialites and secretaries all competed with their checkbook for the opportunity to perform in this fun-loving Broadway musical.
