About This Show

The Goodman Theatre’s magical production of Dickens’ best-loved story has become a holiday must-see for Chicago families, as much a part of the season as the wondrously decorated windows at Marshall Field’s or the sparkling lights on Michigan Avenue. This year, director Kate Buckley returns to polish this gem with the help of one of Chicago’s finest actors, William Brown, taking the central role of Ebenezer Scrooge for his 4th season. With its captivating story, told in brilliant colors with elaborate sets and costumes, music, dance, and a splash of magic, the Goodman’s production of A Christmas Carol, adapted by Tom Creamer, is the perfect holiday entertainment for the entire family.

Performed in the Albert Theatre.
