Donal O’Kelly demonstrates his staggering versatility as writer, narrator and actor in this Edinburgh Festival award-winning production. Catalpa is a humorous portrayal of a frustrated screenwriter and his ambition to make an historical blockbuster about a Massachusetts whaler engaged in 1875 to spring six Fenian prisoners from Western Australia. This production is presented as part of the du Maurier World Stage Festival.
