Monday Night Gay Comedy

QComedy’s Monday Night Gay Comedy, which takes place on the second Monday of each month, is San Francisco’s only regularly running gay comedy showcase. In 1984, the late Randy Shilts announced in the San Francisco Chronicle that it had become “an epicenter of gay comedy.” Tom Ammiano, Lea DeLaria, Marga Gomez, Doug Holsclaw, Whoopi Goldberg and many others began their comedy careers at this venue.
