Eavesdropper, L.A.’s currently longest running play comes to San Francisco’s Off Market Theater. The play, born as a four-week experimental film script workshop grew into a cult phenomenon bolstered by “rave” online reviews.
The show is in the toilet, literally. An uninvited party guest “eavesdrops” behind the bathroom shower curtain on 12 guests’ private moments, dark secrets and ends up witnessing a crime.
For mature audiences only. No two performances or casts are the same as actors are chosen from a pool of ensemble members to fill the roster for each show. This unique format will allow for SF and LA actors to work both in San Francisco and in Los Angeles, where the show continues to run.
