Dream of a Common Language

In Dream of a Common Language, husband and wife painters, Clovis and Victor each struggle to express themselves as artists and as lovers. Realizing that acceptance on someone else’s terms is worse than rejection, the two must find a common language.

Lucid dreams and lost opportunities haunt Clovis, a woman in search of her artistic identity. In her insatiable quest to be taken seriously as an artist and to join her male counterparts in the Impressionist movement, she is driven to extremes.
