At Stake

Strong Current’s title piece, At Stake, deals with the witch-hunts
remembered and questions how women are still being victimized today in other ways. “Tic Toc” portrays how our own communities have become lost and
forgotten as our government pushes domestic affairs under the carpet. Through human qualitative gestures contrasted with explosive lava-like movement Strong Current takes the audience through a journey demonstrating how the U.S. tries to keep a clean image but if you look around homelessness, poverty, gangs, and violence are pervasive throughout our homeland.
