About this show

Based on the sensational Leopold and Loeb murder of 1924 and later adapted into a classic film by Alfred Hitchcock, Patrick Hamilton's Rope paints a macabre yet wickedly humorous portrait of murder as an art form to be enjoyed by superior beings. When young men Wyndham Brandon and Charles Granillo strangle their fellow undergraduate and then throw a party around the chest in which the murdered man resides, viewers are left to wonder if the rule-making elite are indeed superior enough to get away with the perfect crime.

Audiences are encouraged to dress in roaring '20s fashion as they too will be invited to the party and serve as witnesses to this "most mysterious and weird" event. Guests will also enjoy live jazz music before and after the show.
