The Hasty Heart, by John Patrick, tells the story of a wounded World War II soldier and his last few weeks of life in the convalescent ward of a hospital. His life is forever changed by the sympathetic treatment of his fellow patients, but his stubborn rejection of their friendship nearly wrecks the good intentions of those who want to make him happy. Romance and friendship combine to soften his hardened heart and provide the foundation for his greatest lesson yet. Pepper Sweeney directs.
There is an additional matinee Saturday, November 25 at 2:30pm.
