The writer John Leguizamo scored a personal triumph originating the show off-Broadway, winning a 1992 Lucille Lortel Award and the Dramatists Guild’s prestigious Hull-Warriner Award. Spic-O-Rama is a six-character perspective on a family wedding day. It offers wit, humor, and insight into Latino life. This 24-hour snapshot of a family provides a range of viewpoints from the forgotten children to the recovering veteran, from the bitter wife to the philandering husband.
