Safe is a dark, comedic thriller about five individuals coerced into a bank vault during a violent robbery. Set entirely in the vault, the play explores the forced camaraderie and inevitable conflicts that develop between people who have little else in common besides their instinct to survive. As their paranoia grows, so too does their capacity for deception. One by one, they turn on each other, create alliances and reveal their true selves, ultimately leading to murder…and a discovery that will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
