The American Repertory Theatre presents Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters. Love lies deep and untapped in the Prozorov girls, until a garrison arrives in their remote town. Can the newcomers bring the sisters the happiness they crave? Polish master-director Krystian Lupa directs in the U.S. for the first time. Internationally renowned as one of the leading artists of our age, Lupa works on a vast theatrical canvas. His productions are remarkable for their psychological complexity, stylistic innovation, and humanity. Produced in association with New York Theatre Workshop and the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival. Evening performances on Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 14 will take place at 10pm. There are no performances on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
