The Matchmaker

Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker is the story is of wealthy Horace Vandergelder who employs matchmaker, Dolly Levi to find him a bride, but she decides she wants him herself which leads to comic situations. This later became the inspiration for the musical, Hello Dolly.
