Swan Lake

At the heart of the venerable Russian legacy of classical ballet is the Kirov Ballet of Mariinsky Theatre of St. Petersburg, showcasing its birthright through the supremacy of its dancers and the majesty of its performances. Following its triumphant 2003 Boston appearance, the Kirov Ballet and Orchestra return to showcase their incomparable production of Swan Lake. With Tchaikovsky’s inspired and beloved score, and Marius Petipa’s and Les Ivanov’s original choreography, it is one of the Kirov’s signature works and arguably the world’s most beloved full length ballet.
